You are still able to manage your license; activate, transfer,
add new BlackBerry PIN to multi-user account and deactivate,
by using the Manage License feature on your BlackBerry device.
If you have purchased a commercial license you must activating the software immediately to unlock the trial mode and your BlackBerry device will become “licensed device”. When the program is unlock or activated, you can use it forever.
Your license information are store on our license server and you have unlimited times to reactivate the software.
Except that if you have transferred your license key from "licensed BlackBerry device" to other. That other device becomes the “licensed device” and the former device becomes “unlicensed device”. The unlicensed device can no longer activate, reactivate and use any Manage License feature.
For Multi-User License account, all of your devices are “licensed device” and they are able to use Manage License feature at the same time.
Follow the following steps to activate product:
- Press the Menu key and then click Manage License menu option.
- Click one of the following buttons.
a. Activate Over The Internet button
Click Activate over the Internet button
Click Yes and then an activation progress bar will appear.
In a few seconds the license server will response to your activation request and the software will show the activation result on BlackBerry phone screen.
b. Enter License Key button
Click Enter License Key button
Type a license key
Click Activate button
Once the activate process has been completed you can check your license key information by click Manage License menu again.
A. Transfer License to another BlackBerry smart phone.
In this scenario the performing device must be activated first. See Software Activation for more information. When this process is completed successfully then the BlackBerry device which running the software will becomes "unlicensed device" and will not be able to activate, reactivate or use any Manage License feature. You must completely remove the software from the former device.
Follow the following steps:

Press the Menu key and then click Manage License menu option.
You will see a choice "Transfer my license to another BlackBerry smartphone" was selected by default and can't be changed.
- Type a new BlackBerry PIN and then click Continue button.
In a few seconds the license server will response to your transfer license request and the software will show the result on BlackBerry phone screen.
- Perform Software Activation from the added BlackBerry PIN.
B. Transfer my license to this BlackBerry smart phone
In this scenario the performing device is run in trial mode.
The trial mode software can transferring a license key from a "licensed device" even you can't access to it. This scenario can happen in case of you've lost your BlackBerry phone which running activated product and have no longer access to it.
When this process is completed successfully then the BlackBerry specified above will becomes "unlicensed device" and will not be able to activate, reactivate or use any Manage License feature and then your current BlackBerry device will be activated automatically and become "licensed device".
Follow the following steps:
- Press the Menu key and then click Manage License menu option.
- Click Transfer Activation button.
You will see a choice "Transfer my license to this BlackBerry smartphone" was selected by default and can't be changed.
- Type a Licensed PIN number and email address then click Continue button.
The Licensed PIN number is the PIN number you use to purchase OR your last PIN number that you has transferred a license key to.
In a few seconds the license server will response to your transfer license request and the software will show the result on BlackBerry phone screen.
Once the process has been completed you can check your license key information by click Manage License menu again.

If you have purchased Multi-User license then you can add BlackBerry PIN to your account to use the product. All of your BlackBerry PINs are “licensed device” and they are able to activate, reactivate and use Manage License feature at the same time.
Follow the following steps:
- Press the Menu key and then click Manage License menu option.
You will see a choice “Allows another BlackBerry smartphone install my Multi-User license” was selected by default and can’t be changed.
- Type a new PIN and click Continue button.
In a few seconds the license server will response to your request and the software will show the result on BlackBerry phone screen.
- Perform Software Activation from the added BlackBerry PIN.
